The staff was always helpful and the reception desk was staffed 24/24. The location is excellent - quiet street with easy access to Metro just down Blvd St. Michel.
For us the breakfasts were a little too little for a cost a little too high. Not exceptional in Paris, but can do better by visiting the small patesseries down on Blvd St. Germain.
1) The relationship between the very (very!) high price (140 eur each night) and the corridors and room size: these are not hotel corridors or rooms, but real "holes", even if design-furnished. We two could not walk or move in it at the same moment. Really a shame. 2) This is not a families friendly hotel: for the first time in our French travels we paid the baby cot (8 eur each night!) and the milk in the biberon. We were informed about the cost of the bed, but this doesn't mean anything, since we had no choices to do differently, mostly if considering the room size and, consequently, the double bed size: the baby could have never slept with us! 3) The rudeness of the cleaning woman and reception girl in charge on Sat July 12th morning: when we asked the pleasure to have some milk for the baby in the biberon, they were quite puzzled and hardly gave it to us, remarking it was not free, but 1,50 eur charged (... NO COMMENT). Plus, when they gave it to us it was really steaming: I kindly remarked this and asked some cold milk or an ice cube and they replied: "If this does not fit you, you can do it by yourself". NEVER HAPPENED SOMETHING LIKE THAT BEFORE.
